Explore the secrets of our fascinating vibrant corals and marine life on Sylvia Shoal reef, which is well-known as one of the world’s finest diving spots. Your opportunity te see Mozambique’s gentle giant – whale shark and manta rays. The reef is approximately 14km long, with a average dept of 10 meters. Truly an amazing reef which has hardly been explored.
Sylvia shoal also has perfect waters for Scuba diving and snorkelling. The warm tropical waters surrounding the lodge has a stunning variety of sea life. Leatherback turtles are often seen in the waters close to the lodge.

Sylvia shoal is the perfect place for sky-boat, rock and surf as well as see kayak fishing. We have a wide variety of species to catch like Spanish Mackerel, King Fish, Sail Fish, Tuna, Bonito, Spotted Mackerel, Queen Fish and Job Fish, only to mention a few. Most major game fish species can be caught in our area.
Natural bait is available ate local markets and Sylvia Shoal has beach launching sites.
